The Enigma is a sized down version of the larger the Enigma XL strip light for smaller spaces and tighter budgets.
Emitting 365nm wavelength UV-A blacklight, the Enigma is suitable for NDT, forensics and document checking.
With an ingress protection rating of IP65 the Enigma strip light is ideal for mounting above penetrant wash-off tanks and providing background UV illumination above MPI bench units.
IP 65 Rated - Waterproof
The Enigma Strip-Light is ingress protection rated to IP 65.
What does this mean?
This means that the Enigma Strip-Light has the highest level of protection against dust (the 6) and protection from low pressure water jets from any direction.
Practically this ensures that the Enigma Strip-Light can safely operate in almost any NDT environment.
