1500A Mobile MPI Power Pack
The Tri-Mag is a portable power pack capable of variable AC outputs which can be used for performing pistol prod and encircling techniques as well demagnetizing components.
Johnson & Allen can supply a range of accessories with the Tri-Mag including encircling cables, pistol prods, ‘G’ clamp prods, split coils and foot switches. All cables use quick release DINSE connectors for increased inspection efficiency.
Ideal for finding surface defects
The Tri-Mag is ideal for finding surface defects in large or heavy parts, in-service components or weld testing on-site. Supplied calibrated and with the relevant paperwork.
Safety features such as a circuit breakers and a series of fuses are fitted as standard on the Tri-Mag to ensure that even inadvertent misuse will not put operators at risk. Johnson & Allen pride itself on high quality design and construction which is why the power transformers used in the Tri-Mag are wound, built and extensively tested in house before they are installed.
